With over three decades of front-line experience in occupational health, environmental compliance, and regulatory affairs, Sheldon Primus is a recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) who bridges the gap between complex government enforcement and real-world business operations.

Sheldon’s career spans high-stakes regulatory work, including consulting and compliance engagements related to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, water/wastewater safety, and industrial risk management. A frequent keynote speaker and educator at major national forums—including the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association (VPPPA). Sheldon is also the voice behind The Safety Consultant Podcast and author of industry-leading guides on occupational safety and business development.

As an OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Center instructor and authorized trainer in both General Industry and Construction, Sheldon developed the Safety Champion Coaching Program to help employers move away from fragile paper compliance. Instead, he helps companies operationalize the OSHA Safety Champions Program (SCP Directive CSP-03-01-006), integrating ISO 45001 / ANSI Z10 management standards into a self-sustaining system driven by internal worker participation and management leadership.
